She doesn't have to live the harder aspects of life, thanks to her position as teacher and priestess, but she is also not so elevated above the people, that they cannot come to her, or her to them...if she so desires. Living on the temple grounds with her young daughter, listening to the voices of the gods, and helping the chief guide the people can be a challenge at times, but Shashanna enjoys it. Instead of being intimidated by all she does, she thrives on her duties. That is, until a day she thought would never happen. Across the ocean from Lemuria, is the land of Atlantis. Now the Lemurian's and the Atlanteans coexist in the world together relatively peacefully...as peacefully as a land of spirituality (Lemuria) and a land of technology (Atlantis) can exist. The chief of Lemuria, Ariki, has been receiving disturbing messages about a specific group of Atlanteans who wish to control places other than their native Atlantis. Greece has been repelling attacks, from them, along with other smaller nations. These reports were disturbing, but no one expected anyone to seriously attack Lemuria. After all, the distance from Lemuria to Atlantis is by far greater than that of Atlantis and Greece. So, most put the idea out of their minds. And to Shashanna's shame, she does too, as she is distracted by her duties. That is, until her daughter is kidnapped by those very people. Now, she must figure out a way to prevent a war from breaking out between their two nations, as well as get her daughter back safely. If she thought her job was challenging before, it is nothing compared to the difficulties she faces ahead.
